We have decided to offer fitting, showmanship, and driving schools as a part of out services to the draft horse driving industry. There will be a basic Weekend Academy offered for the beginner, which will be a basic beginning level course for those who wish to get started the right way.

We emphasize the safe and proper way to work with the horse, and you will spend most of your time working with and learning about the animals. We want you to have a happy and productive time with us, and will make all reasonable accommodations for you to do so. The class size is limited to only 5 students, so that you will be able to get the benefit of personal attention that make sure you learn all you can.

The Weekend Academy will begin on a Friday and run through Sunday afternoon, with 2 meals served on Saturday and on Friday and Sunday. We will be happy to have you bring your camper, or can assist you in arranging lodging in the area. The cost of the entire Weekend Academy will be only $500.

We can also offer private lessons on a limited basis throughout the year. Please contact us for times and dates available.

We will also offer a LONG-LINE driving school for up to an 8 horse hitch to interested parties. This is an advanced course for the experienced driver of smaller hitches, and is intended to give you the confidence and skills needed to handle the larger hitches. This take a full week, so contact us for prices and times/dates available. Students are accepted to the LONG-LINE courses by interview only!
